MY's Blog First Anniversary

                 
   


I have started blogging in December 2013. My first post was on December 30th 2013. It is Palak Dal. I started my blog with one category that is MY's Recipes. It is all about Indian Vegetarian food. Gradually I added other categories namely DIY Sewing and Crochet which is my hobby. Later extented to Hindu Temples and Festivals in which I am interested in and the last one was paid survey reviews which I was doing since 6 years. My first year journey in blogging is a good learning experience...the last year have given me enough hope & enthusiasm to take this forward to the next year.

By the end of first year I have 89 posts in my blog.

Alivelu Mangapuram Temple

Trichanoor, Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple is situated 5 Kms fro Tirupathi. It is also called as Alamelu Mangapuram , one of the important  temples  in Tirupathi . Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Temple , Zaheerabad.

Sri siddi vinayaka temple is at Rejinthal, Zaheerabad, Medak district, Telengana. It  is nearer to Hyderabad and is at a distance of 108 kilometers.  Zaheerabad was previously called Pedda Ekkheli. It was later named as Zaheerabad by the name of  the paigah nawab,  Zaheerabad Yar Jung. The idol in the temple is Vinayaka (Lord Ganesha) called as Siddhi Vinayaka. The temple though looks like recently built it has a history of 207 years. The H.H. Shiva Ram Bath  Jyoshi of Maharashtra prayed Lord Ganesh  in this place while he was on the way to Tirupathi. Pleased with his prayers Lord Ganesha came out of the earth in that place as Siddi Vinayaka. The name siddhi indicates success. People who visit this temple are granted success. Bottlegourd Sweet curry

Bottle gourd sweet curry is a simple and easy recipe prepared in just 30 minutes. It is prepared with less oil and with sugar, besan flour it tastes good. A sweet and spicy curry for your lunch or dinner menu. Here goes the procedure Preparation time: 30 minutes Serves 4 people. Ingredients: Bottle gourd: 1/2 piece (finely chopped) Green chillies: 7(sliced) Besan flour: 3tsp Sugar:3tsp Curry leaves: few Mustard seeds: 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds:1/4tsp Red chillies: 2 Oil 3tsp Turmeric powder: small pinch Asafoetida: small pinch Salt to taste Preparation: Take finely chopped bottled gourd pieces in a large bowl and fill it with water. Now boil it until it becomes soft. Take a kadai add 3 tsp oil and add mustard seeds. When it splutters add cumin seeds, split urad dal and split chana dal, asafoetida and red chillies.
