Crochet bottle cover is prepared with basic single crochet in just 30 minutes. It is easy to crochet than sew the bottle cover. Anyone with basic crochet skills or who knows to crochet a cap can do this easily.     Things needed: Wool 2 Colours Crochet needle (I used 5.5mm Hook) Procedure: 1st round: Do 3 chains and slip stitch to make a circle. 2nd round: Do 6 single crochet from the middle and join with slip stitch. 3rd round : From each string do 2 single crochet to form a total of 12 single crochets and complete with a slip stitch. 4th round: From each string do 2 single crochet to form a total of 24 single crochets.  You can check whether it fits properly by keeping near the bottle base. If you still need a big size  you can  increase in the same proportion. With this the increasing rounds are completed. Now do as many rounds as you need to cover the bottle. I have done 15 rounds as it is for a small...

A crochet  scarf with an easy pattern. I have another blog post about simple crochet scarf . Nearest to that pattern but the gap between crotchets is wider to make it light weight. The pattern is in multiples of 5. Here I used 30 chains. So you can extend the width of the scarf in multiples of 5.  Procedure: For first row do 36 chains. Second row: Leave 6 chains and in the 7 th chain do 1 double crochet, do 4 chains in the 5th chain 1 double crochet and continue to the end. Third row: Do 6 chains and do 1 double crochet from the 5th chain of the previous row. Again 4 chains from the 5 the chain of the previous row do 1 double crochet. Continue to the end.  I have prepared 90 rows. You can do it as lengthy you need.  A thin crochet scarf to wear in light winter weather.

How to crochet a cap

Image
Crochet is all about math. The pattern depends on number of chains and rounds,  if we miss the number we will loose the shape. When I first started to crochet a cap I was confused about  size and number of  chrochets. After so many trials finally I prepared three different sizes of caps. Now I got an idea of how many chains and rounds needed for a particular age. The above image is only on one size for men adults, big size. According to my experiments here is the number of crochets for 3 different ages. For 6 to 10 years of age:  45 crochets. For 11 to 15 years of age: 50 crochets. For reamining ages : 55 to 60 crochets ( The crochets I have given above is my opinion. But every head varies even with same age. So you can increase or decrease according to your size Pattern to crochet an adult cap for above 35years age. I have used 5.5mm Hook.  Round 1: 6 chains and join with a slip sti...
